Serving as Partner, Michael’s role within the firm is threefold, consisting of Business Development, Office Operations, and Project Management with a focus on residential commissions. In all aspects of his work, Michael’s ability to collaborate with others enables him to successfully answer any challenge.
Michael first joined the firm in 1997 working as CARBO’s first intern. After graduating from the LSU Robert Reich School of Landscape Architecture in 2002, he began his professional career in Texas working on project types ranging from parks and recreation to urban design and planning. After serving as the design director for a design-build firm, Michael focused the second half of his career on residential design which led him to create his own multi-disciplinary design firm in Austin.
In 2017, Michael joined the CARBO team in the Baton Rouge headquarters. This move brought him home to Louisiana after practicing in Texas for nearly 15 years.
