Julia Constant, ASLA

Landscape Designer jconstant@carbo-la.com

In the Spring of 2024, Julia graduated with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree from the Robert Reich School of Landscape Architecture at Louisiana State University. During her time at LSU, her perspective as a designer was influenced by her travel experiences around the US and her valuable internship opportunities. These opportunities highlighted the importance of landscape architects and their role in fostering connections between people and the natural environment.

As an LSU Student Ambassador, she recognized the underappreciation of the profession and became an advocate for raising awareness about the widespread contributions that landscape architecture provides around the world. Her advocacy earned her both the RRSLA Leadership Award and the RRSLA Service Award upon graduation, demonstrating her commitment to raising awareness about the profession.

Julia looks forward to beginning her professional career with CARBO, where she intends to apply her experience and skills to enhance the bond between her hometown community of Baton Rouge and the surrounding natural environment. Julia believes that the impact of thoughtful design and sustainable practices can create enduring spaces while engaging and inspiring the community both locally and abroad, thus motivating her to remain dedicated to the profession of landscape architecture.
