Steven Mansfield

Landscape Designer

Steven Mansfield joined CARBO in July of 2013 after graduating with a BLA from the LSU Robert Reich School of Landscape Architecture. Steven found his passion for landscape architecture and the visual arts in his hometown of Houston, Texas where his parents were a landscape architect and an artist.

At CARBO, Steven is involved in many tasks ranging from client relations, schematic design, and construction documentation. Steven has played a role in many different Louisiana chapter ASLA awards, and future phases of national ASLA award winning projects including graphic representation, site grading, planting plans, and construction documents for large-scale residences, trails systems, and institutional campuses.

Steven’s expertise in graphic representation has been utilized in a variety of schematic presentations and promotional pieces including the Louisiana State University Health and Science Center masterplan, Indian Springs School masterplan, New Orleans Botanical Garden, Chalmette Battlefield Memorial, and, most recently, a conceptual masterplan for a large-scale ranch home in Texas.

Outside of the office you will find Steven enjoying bicycling, drawing, photography, or just spending the day with his cat Lola and a good cup of coffee.
