Paxton Rooks

Landscape Designer

Paxton Rooks joined the firm in 2013 and currently serves as a landscape designer after graduating Cum Laude with a bachelor’s in both landscape architecture and landscape contracting, as well as a minor in business, from Mississippi State University in the fall of 2012.

During his time at Mississippi State University, he gained work experience that included various design and construction internships in the central Mississippi area as well as on the East Coast in Maryland. He earned an ASLA Honor Award for Excellence in the study of Landscape Architecture and played a vital role in the design and construction of a community project for the Oktibbeha County Heritage Museum which received a National ASLA Student Award.

At CARBO, Paxton is directly involved in all stages of the design process and has been involved in a wide array of project types and scales ranging from institutional, municipal, with a focus on residential garden design and development.  As studio manager, he seeks to encourage a collaborative spirit within the firm and ensure timeless and quality design results while sustaining positive client interaction.
