John-Taylor has worked on a variety of projects while at CARBO and leads the firm in branding, marketing, and visual representation. His attention to legible graphics aid in the success of conveying the design intent to the client.  He has received Honor Awards on both the national and state level.  His efforts in the completion of the MSU Demonstration Garden led to a National ASLA Honor Award in 2017 for student collaboration, and he also led the award submittal for MSU’s Community Garden that won a National ASLA Award of Excellence in 2019 for student collaboration.

Growing up on his family farm in south Mississippi, John-Taylor developed a strong work ethic with a deep appreciation for the landscape. Through his academic and professional career, that appreciation has turned into a passion for creating beautiful sustainable designs.
