Grayson Loudon

Landscape Designer gloudon@carbo-LA.com

Grayson graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the Louisiana State University School of Architecture in the spring of 2023 and he joined CARBO’s team in the summer of 2023. His interest in Landscape Architecture lies in bridging the divides between urban and natural systems to promote community resiliency.

During his time at LSU, he worked at an internship called the Coastal Ecosystem Design Studio (CEDS). While there, he collaborated with Environmental Engineers, Coastal Engineers, Historians, Landscape Architects, and other Architects to design holistic solutions for communities being affected by rising sea level and the destruction of Louisiana’s coast. Under the Army Core of Engineer’s DEEDS and ACTIONS grant, he worked specifically with an Environmental Engineer to research and design solutions for stormwater management in leveed areas across various scales.

Grayson is excited to further his professional career by continuing to collaborate and communicate among multiple disciplines to design spaces that integrate community needs with natural ecosystems.  When he isn’t working Grayson enjoys spending time cooking, rock climbing, hiking, and photographing the scenery of places around the world.
